AK 4-H at home: growing for tomorrow |
Over the next ten weeks, Kodiak 4-H staff and volunteers will be working in partnership with Kodiak Middle School, Old Harbor School, Kodiak Baptist Mission Afterschool Program, Healthy Kodiak, UAF Cooperative Extension and Fairbanks Soil & Water Professionals to offer at-home kits to 75 youth in Kodiak, in order to teach them life skills and strengthen food security. This project is offered thanks to a grant from National 4-H Council.
This blog will be a place students can come to find a copy of the "HOW TO" instructions, photos and videos to help them at home, and more! We hope it will be an interactive and helpful resource for them on their food journey.
