Welcome aspiring 4-H'er!

Here's some information you should know:

We run 4 camps throughout the year:
-Afterschool program (all school year long according to the bus system of LKSD)
-Fall Camp
-Spring Camp/Culture Camp
-Summer Camp

The 4-H Afterschool Program:

Our after school program runs through the entire school year. Our hours start immediately after school until 6pm Monday through Friday. This schedule is tentative as we follow the LKSD school calendar and bus system.

The kids come, sign-in, eat snack, begin program, and are taught valuable and practical life skills every day through crafts, STEM projects, sewing and cooking projects, etc. They also get to play outdoor activities (weather permitting)!

At 4-H we have a lot of volunteers come to teach the kids about different professions and passions, such as ONC, Bethel PD, Bethel Fire and Rescue, Fish and Wildlife, etc!

We strive to "Learn By Doing."

The 4-H Fall Camp/Spring Camp:

During the Fall break and Spring break 4-H is up and running! We bring a full days worth of program, activities, and fun learning for our kids!
We are open from 12pm-6pm the full week of Fall and Spring Break from Monday-Friday.
Parents drop off their kids from 12-1pm and the kids are served 2 meals and a snack throughout the day. We cook, we play, we exercise, and we develop critical skills along with healthy habits as we do it!

The 4-H Summer Camp:

Our Summer camp runs a 12 week program Monday-Friday from 12pm-6pm where 4-H'ers get to dive deep into daily stations that promote healthy living, daily exercise, and maintaining the skills they learned throughout the school year.
We pick up the pool program kids daily by walk from the YK Fitness Center.
Parents are required to drop off their kids unless the child is being picked up from the Pool program.
Each day the kids are fed 2 meals and a snack.
During the summer our kids participate in:
- The production of our 4-H garden
- Community service projects
- Bethel 4th of July Parade
- Swimming field trips
- And more!
