4-H and Youth Development Program Leader
Lead 4-H to help today's youth reach their full potential. Position is responsible for leadership and oversight of the youth development programs in Cooperative Extension Service (CES) at University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). This position manages multiple projects and programs simultaneously. Success at obtaining external funding in support of the program is absolutely necessary given reductions in state allocations. The position requires highly self-motivated and disciplined creative abilities. How 4-H and other youth programs associated with UAF CES are perceived is guided by this position. It requires a sensitivity to program needs and evaluation to ascertain whether or not programs meet desired CES standards, mission and program objectives for youth development and growth. This position is key to ensure and maintain high quality youth development activities at UAF in CES.
