Kenai Peninsula District Council

The 4-H District Council is the chartered volunteer Leadership Organization of the Kenai Peninsula. Elected annually, Council officers assist KP 4-H committees to plan and manage district fundraisers and events designed to help the KP 4-H programs go and grow while making the best better in our clubs, our community, our country, and our world. Youth members of a year or more as well as UAF approved 4-H volunteers are eligible as nominees to serve on the District Council. All district 4-H Clubs are encouraged to send a representative to the Council's monthly meetings.

KP 4-H Junior Market Livestock Program

​The purpose of the Kenai Peninsula District 4-H Junior Market Livestock Program (JML) is to educate its members about agriculture in Alaska while teaching them to be good business people, ethical livestock herdsmen, quality meat producers, and productive members of their 4-H clubs and their community.
