Time/Date/Location:
We will be gathering most Thursdays this summer,  June 9, 16, 23, July 7, 14, 28, and August 4, 11, and 18 from 1 - 4.

Get outside this summer with 4-H! We will be using all our senses to sharpen our naturalist skills as we move our bodies and explore this beautiful island of Kodiak and it’s natural resources.

We will be on trails, on the beaches, and near creeks around the island. Meet up locations and topics will be announced a week or so in advance. Through hands on exploration and discussion, kids will learn about being prepared and safe in the great outdoors, what various flora and fauna live here, how to be good stewards of our island, and the joys of interacting with each other and the natural world.

Please note, this is not a drop-off camp, each child must have a supervising adult with them (younger siblings are welcome to tag along but some activities may not be safe or appropriate for littles to join). If you can not be at a meeting with your child, please arrange with another parent to chaperone them. We request that no adult monitor more than 4 children, unless they are all in your family. Also, because we will be outside exploring in all Kodiak weather conditions, proper rain gear and foot wear is essential.
