Marla Lowder, 4-H & Youth Development Agent in the Tanana District, is back this week with a fun STEM project to do with eggs!

Project Discipline: STEM
Ages: All ages!!
Difficulty level: Easy
Supplies: one raw egg and one hard boiled egg

Egg observation with a shell

If you have your two eggs in front of you, you're ready to begin!  Watch Marla's video, and answer some questions based on your observation.

Egg fun without a shell

Now that you've done some observation with your eggs with the shell on, let's see what happens when we remove the shell!  Check out the tutorial below, and give it a try - see if you can get your egg to bounce!
Did you have fun with this project?  Show us your videos or photos on the Alaska 4-H facebook page OR upload a quick message about your project and how much fun you had to our new flipgrid!
