Ready to make a difference in the lives of youth in Alaska?
We are always looking for new 4-H Volunteer Leaders - both to help organize clubs/activities and/or to teach skills to kids! Volunteers are the HEART of the 4-H program. 4-H Youth Development volunteers are valued partners in working with youth and Extension agents. Alaska 4-H is committed to providing safe places and caring adults who build caring relationships with young people. To ensure these positive environments, Alaska 4-H requires a minimum level of training before certifying volunteers as appropriate to work with other peoples children. We do not charge a member fee for volunteers.
Individuals wising to become certified Alaska 4-H Volunteers must complete the following steps before beginning work with 4-H youth members.
