Visual Arts Project

The Visual Arts section of "Communication and Expressive Arts" 4-H Projects includes many different ways to experience art. The projects allow youth to learn life skills and grow in project knowledge while expressing creativity in a variety of mediums. Youth may chose from beading, ceramics, paper, fabric and leather craft, stencilling, wood carving/engraving, flower arranging, plastic canvas, porcelain dolls, drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic arts, photography/video, as well as exhibits and displays. Projects in the Visual Arts help to develop their artistic skills and talents. All the activities focus on exploring the elements and principles of design and encouraging the development of skills for a lifetime.
