Contests and Activities:
Livestock Judging Contest: Teams judge animals and provide reasons. Preregistration required.
Livestock Quiz Bowl: Teams answer livestock related questions, buzzer style! Preregistration required.
Public Speaking, Demonstration and Extemporaneous Contests: Prepared Presentations, Demonstrations and Extemporaneous on livestock related topics. May be distance delivered. Preregistration required.
Skill-a-thon Contest: Try your hand at hands-on critter related activities. Stations with topics such as: breeds of animals, feed/hay identification, scorecards, tattooing, judging, etc. Open to public after state contest competition.
Art & Photography Show: Bring any livestock themed art (created by the member) for the following categories: 1. 2-D Art (drawing, painting) 2. 3-D Art (sculptures, carvings, etc) 3. Photography (black and white or color; any sized print; mounted or not).
Maximum of three entries per category. Entries by mail (May 23)or brought to the contest.
