Thank you for Volunteering to make a difference in the lives of youth in Alaska!

4-H Youth Development volunteers are valued partners in working with youth and Extension agents. Alaska 4-H is committed to providing safe places and caring adults who build caring relationships with young people.
To ensure these positive environments, Alaska 4-H requires a minimum level of training before certifying volunteers to work with youth.
After reviewing the training requirements, contact your local Extension office if you have any questions! Not sure which office is closest to you? Check HERE and someone from the Extension office will contact you shortly!

Please check with your District staff to see if there is any District-specific training that you may need to take. Note that there are slightly different requirements for first time 4-H volunteers and 4-H volunteers who have previously shared their skills with our Alaska 4-H program.
If you have any questions at all, please contact your local District office or send an email to alaska4h@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist you.
